Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your use of MyMod as a seller.
1.Who these terms are between
These Terms govern your use of MyMod as a seller. "We", "us", and "MyMod" mean MyMod. "You" and "Seller" mean the person or business that creates a MyMod account and connects a Facebook page. By signing up, connecting a page, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy in Part B.
2.What MyMod does
MyMod is an assistant that operates on your connected Facebook page. It reads comments and inbox messages, replies in Banglish using the product and stock information you provide, helps capture orders, and hands a conversation to you when a person is needed. MyMod is a tool that assists you. You remain the seller and the merchant in every transaction with your customers.
3.Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. You must connect only a Facebook page that you own or are authorized to manage.
4.Connecting your Facebook page
You connect your page through Facebook Login. We receive a page access token through the official flow and never ask for or store your Facebook password. Your use of Facebook remains subject to Facebook's own terms. You are responsible for keeping the connection valid; if it expires or is removed, the assistant is suspended for that page until you reconnect.
5.Your responsibilities for content and orders
You are responsible for the products, prices, stock levels, photos, and delivery charges you enter, and for keeping them current. The assistant answers from the data you provide. Every order the assistant captures is created as pending and must be confirmed by you or your staff before you act on it. You are responsible for confirming, fulfilling, and delivering orders, for collecting payment, and for honoring the payment norms shown to customers.
6.The assistant and its limits
The assistant uses third-party language-model and image-matching technology and produces automated replies. It is designed not to promise stock it cannot confirm and to hand off when it is unsure, but automated replies can still be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing conversations and orders. MyMod does not guarantee any particular sales outcome, response quality, or uptime beyond what is stated in Section 12.
7.Acceptable use
You agree not to use MyMod to send bulk or unsolicited messages, to break Facebook's terms or platform policies, to handle products or content that are illegal in Bangladesh, to mislead customers, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend the assistant or the account if use breaches this section or risks your page or our platform.
8.Subscriptions, trials, and payment
MyMod is offered on subscription plans metered by unique customer conversations per month. A free trial may be offered for a limited period or conversation count. Paid plans are activated and extended manually after you pay by mobile money (bKash or Nagad) to the number we provide. A subscription is active until a stated date; you pay before that date to extend. Plan limits are soft: near the limit you are prompted to upgrade, and over the limit the assistant keeps working through a short buffer rather than stopping mid-month. Prices are shown in the application and may change on notice for future billing periods. Payments already made are not refundable except where required by law.
9.Suspension, downgrade, and termination
You may stop using MyMod and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or risk to your page or our platform. On termination we stop the assistant on your page and handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10.Intellectual property
MyMod, including its software, brand, and design, belongs to us and our licensors. You keep ownership of your own catalog, photos, and business data. You grant us a limited licence to process that data and your page's messages solely to operate the service for you.
11.Third-party services
MyMod relies on third parties including Facebook (Meta), the language-model provider (Google), the hosting provider, and the mobile-money services. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and interruptions in their services may affect MyMod.
12.Service levels, disclaimers, and liability
We aim for around-the-clock availability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, MyMod is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost sales, or losses caused by third-party services, by your data, or by your confirmation and fulfilment of orders. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change.
14.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights that apply.
